Job Description

We are looking to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist (3+ years of experience). The AR Specialist will join a small team that assists the accounting manager and the controller with month end close activity. Responsibilities will include daily posting of transactional activities applied to the full cycle accounting, multi-state taxation, hands-on accounts receivable management, cyclical close routines.

We are looking for someone that is mature, dynamic, innovative, and eager to learn as they go and can be motivated by working in an entrepreneurial environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily cash reconciliations • Responsible for full accounts receivables cycle
  • Manage Sales tax filing and address related issues
  • Manage month end bank reconciliations
  • Manage assigned balance sheet schedules • Manage Wholesale A/R portfolio
  • Assist in preparation of annual audit


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong PC skills including high proficiency in excel
  • Netsuite One World accounting software a plus
  • High degree of professionalism and meticulous attention to detail and great accuracy required
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
  • Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • High degree of organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of management
  • Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
