Operations Analyst

Job Description

The Operations Analyst will assist the Reporting Team with preparation of scheduled internal reporting for the company. The role is responsible for maintaining accuracy of reports, charts, and dashboards that support the business functions.  They will work closely with all departments to make sure all reporting needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze historical data and reports to understand trends.
  • Support all Reporting Team members by analyzing internal data and providing insights and feedback.
  • Assist in the design of reports & dashboards to increase the efficiency of preparation process and data extraction.
  • Work with all departments to gather reporting requirements based on the strategic goals of the department.
  • Translate reporting requirements into meaningful dashboards and reports that drive behavior outlined in the business strategy.
  • Maintain reports and dashboards that provide analysis of sales, service and operations teams.
  • • Maintain accuracy of existing reports and dashboards.
  • Support members of the Reporting Team in daily, weekly, monthly report preparation. 
Key Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree related to Business or Information Systems.
  • 1 year of prior work experience in related field
  • Strong technical competency in Excel is required.
  • Understanding of SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with Saved Search & Report building in Netsuite or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and master new skills with on the job training of SQL, Netsuite Saved Search design, Salesforce Report building, and Grow.com Dashboard building.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to understand and recognize trends in a dataset. 
  • Highly analytical in nature with an ability to solve complex multi-step problems.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the business.
  • Creativity and sound judgment in decision making. Should have adaptive skills, a flexible mind set.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and create analysis based on incomplete information.
  • Capable of mastering and reacting to the pace of the business, quick thinker and implementer with a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and projects to meet deadlines; also to manage and coordinate inputs from multiple sources.
