Cayan is hosting an Apple® iPad® raffle (the “Event”) at the Electronic Transactions Association’s “TRANSACT: Powered by ETA” show May 10-12, 2017 (the “Convention”). By electing to participate in the Event, you are representing to Cayan that you meet all eligibility requirements and will be bound the following terms and conditions (the “Official Rules”).

  1. NO PURCHASE OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Open only to legal U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older.
  2. ELIGIBILITY. To be eligible to participate in the Event, you must (i) be an attendee of the Convention, (ii) be a legal resident of the United States or the District of Columbia who is 18 years of age or older as of the date of Entry, and (iii) complete an Entry as described below. Employees of Cayan and its affiliates, and their immediate family members or those residing in the same household are not eligible to participate in the Event. Your eligibility is subject to applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
  3. HOW TO ENTER: You may submit entries for a chance to win (an “Entry”) in any of the following ways: (i) visit our website at click the link to schedule a meeting with our team at the Convention, or (ii) stop by Cayan Booth #816 at the Convention, or any Cayan reception or event during the Convention, and give us your business card for an Entry in the Event. To constitute a valid Entry, you must provide sufficient contact information for Cayan to reach you in the event that you are chosen as a winner. No other action is required for entry via business card. Submitting an Entry during the Event Period constitutes your agreement to these Official Rules. Each participant is entitled to one Entry via one of the methods described in these Official Rules. The following additional entry conditions also apply:
    1. All Entries must comply with these Official Rules and the registration instructions to be eligible. Cayan has the sole discretion to determine whether an Entry is eligible. Any Entry that violates the requirements herein or is otherwise objectionable (as determined solely by Cayan), may not be considered a valid Entry and will be disqualified. Automated, script, macro, or robotic Entries will be disqualified.
    2. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by entrants’ online service will apply and are entrants’ sole responsibility. If entering via a mobile device, normal phone/data and usage charges imposed by your phone service may apply. Cayan is not responsible for any compatibility issues with entrant's device/browser used for Entry. Cayan is not responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network server or other connection; miscommunications; failed phone or computer or telephone transmissions; technical failure; jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions; late, lost, incomplete, delayed, or misdirected Entries; or other error of any kind whether human, mechanical, or electronic. CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site, or undermine the legitimate operations of the Contest, is a violation of the criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Cayan reserves the right to seek damages from any such participant to the fullest extent permitted by law and to disqualify such participant from the Contest. In the event the Contest is compromised by virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of Cayan that corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the Contest, Cayan reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the Contest and award prizes from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. Cayan is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, or incomplete Entries.
    3. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Entry. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt by Cayan.
  4. EVENT PERIOD: In order to be entered into the random drawing, you may submit an Entry via the website link starting on April 18, 2017, or you may submit an Entry at the Cayan booth during any hour that the Convention floor is open, beginning with the Convention opening on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Both options will end with the close of the Convention on Friday, May 12, 2017 (“Event Period”). All Entries must be received prior to the close of the Convention.
  5. PRIZES. Four (4) Winners will each receive an Apple® iPad®. Winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes in connection with prize. All federal, state, local laws and regulations apply. Cayan reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value for the original prize. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Limit one prize per person/household.
  6. DRAWING. Winners will be randomly drawn from the pool of eligible Entries on or about May 13, 2017. The potential Winners will be notified by the contact information provided to Cayan. The potential Winners have 24 hours to respond to the notification message. If a winner fails to respond to the notification message within the prescribed time, the prize may be forfeited and a new winner randomly chosen from eligible Entries. The potential Winners must provide Cayan with his/her full name and mailing address, which must be in an eligible state. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s names, likeness, and photograph for promotional purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law. By participating, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of the Company and these Official Rules.
  7. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received during the Event Period.
  8. INDEMNITY. Winners agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cayan and its affiliates and their officers, directors, employees, and agents against any and all liability, damages, or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of participant’s participation in the Event or the receipt, use, or misuse of the prize.
  9. JURISDICTION: The Contest and these Official Rules shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflicts of law provisions. Entrants submit to exclusive personal jurisdiction in Massachusetts and agree that any dispute shall be brought in the state and federal courts in Massachusetts.
  10. SPONSOR. The Event is sponsored and administered solely by Cayan LLC, One Federal St., 2nd Floor, Boston MA 02110. This Contest is in no way sponsored or administered by, or associated with, Apple®, the Electronic Transactions Association, the Madalay Bay® Resort and Casino. Any personal or contact information you provide as part of the Event is given solely to Cayan and will be subject to Cayan’s privacy policy, which can be found at Any third-party trademarks used in these Official Rules are the property of the respective owners and Cayan do not imply an endorsement or association with such entities.
